1. Agreement

By creating a Pang account, downloading the Pang mobile application, or using any of our paid plans, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Pang.

These Terms form a binding contract between you and BRZK, an independent developer based in Indonesia.

2. Your account

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Pang. By using Pang you represent that you meet this minimum age.

2.2 Account creation

You can create an account by:

• Email + password
• Sign in with Google
• Sign in with Apple (iOS)

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password and device PIN confidential.

2.3 One account per person

Each person may hold one personal account. Couple and Family plans permit additional account holders to share a workspace under their own individual accounts.

2.4 Account security

Notify us immediately at halo@planwithpang.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We will work with you in good faith to investigate; you remain responsible for activity under your credentials until you notify us.

3. What Pang does (and doesn't do)

3.1 What Pang does

• Stores and organizes financial information you enter
• Offers tools for budgeting, debt tracking, goal setting, and shared household money management
• Provides OCR receipt scanning and voice-to-transaction input as productivity helpers

3.2 What Pang does NOT do

• We do not move money. Pang is record-keeping software, not a payment service, e-wallet, bank, or money transmitter
• We do not give financial advice, investment recommendations, tax advice, or legal advice. Information shown is for personal organization only
• We do not report your data to credit bureaus, tax authorities, or other third parties (except as required by law per Section 14)
• We do not charge fees on top of any payments you record (we don't see or touch the underlying transactions)

3.3 No fiduciary relationship

Using Pang does not create a banking, fiduciary, investment-advisory, broker-dealer, or attorney-client relationship between you and us.

4. Paid plans

Pang has the following plans (current as of effective date — subject to change with 30 days' notice):

4.1 Billing

• Subscriptions will be billed monthly or annually through a third-party payment processor (disclosed in our Privacy Policy when paid plans launch)
• Prices in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless your account is set to another currency
• Renewal happens automatically until you cancel
• Cancel anytime via Settings → Berlangganan → Batalkan

4.2 Refunds

• 7-day no-questions-asked refund on your first subscription purchase. Email halo@planwithpang.com within 7 days of the charge.
• After 7 days: no partial refunds on prepaid periods, but you keep access through the end of your current paid period
• We do not refund AI Coach add-on usage credits already consumed

4.3 Beta program

During the beta period (May 2026 onward), users who redeem a beta code receive the corresponding plan free of charge. Beta access is granted "as-is" and may be revoked at any time. At the end of the beta period, you will receive at least 14 days' notice before any change to your plan or pricing.

4.4 Lifetime free for first 100 users

The first 100 users who redeem a "public-launch-first-100" code receive lifetime free access to the corresponding paid tier (Personal, Couple, or Family). This grant is non-transferable and tied to the redeeming account.

4.5 Price changes

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice via email and in-app banner. Continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance.

5. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use Pang to:

• Violate any law or regulation, including but not limited to Indonesian ITE Law, anti-money-laundering rules, and consumer protection rules
• Track financial activity of someone other than yourself or someone who has explicitly authorized you (Couple/Family plans require the other party to accept the invitation)
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Pang app except as expressly permitted by law
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access Pang outside of officially documented APIs
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Pang or any portion of it
• Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Harass, threaten, or attempt to deceive other Pang users via the social or sharing features
• Use Pang to launder funds or hide income from tax authorities

Violation may result in account suspension, termination, and where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

6. Couple and Family sharing

6.1 Mutual consent required

You can only see another user's data if they have actively accepted your invitation. They can revoke access at any time.

6.2 Shared data ownership

Data created by a Couple/Family member belongs to that member. You can view (and, depending on your role, edit) but you do not own their data. If a member leaves the Couple/Family, their personal data goes with them.

6.3 Admin responsibilities

Family admins control invitations and roles. Admins are responsible for ensuring other members have agreed to the data-sharing arrangement.

7. Beta program specific terms

If you are a beta tester:

• The app may contain bugs, performance issues, and incomplete features
• Features may change, be removed, or be added without notice
• We may collect more diagnostic data than in production
• You agree to provide honest feedback and report bugs in good faith
• You may not publicly review, screenshot for marketing purposes, or share APKs of the beta build with non-tester third parties without prior written permission
• Beta access can be revoked at any time at our discretion
• At end of beta period, beta-only tier access converts to free tier unless you choose to subscribe

8. Intellectual property

8.1 Pang's IP

Pang (the app, source code, design, brand name, logo, "Pang" wordmark, and "Now your money make sense" tagline) is owned by BRZK. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pang for personal financial management purposes only.

8.2 Your data

You retain ownership of the financial information you enter. By using Pang you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data for the sole purpose of providing the service to you. We claim no ownership rights.

8.3 Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or feature requests, we may use them to improve Pang without obligation to compensate or credit you.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 As-is service

Pang is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 Financial information accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into Pang. Even for auto-detected transactions (from OCR or voice), you should verify the parsed amounts and categories before relying on them for decisions.

9.3 No financial advice

Information displayed in Pang (including spending insights, budget warnings, and Coach suggestions) is for personal organization only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are NOT liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunity
• Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from your use of Pang shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) Rp 1,000,000
• These limits apply even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages
• Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those cases the limits apply to the fullest extent permitted by law

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BRZK, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or third-party right
• Your misuse of Pang
• Disputes between you and other Couple/Family members about shared data

12. Termination

12.1 By you

You can terminate your account anytime via Settings → Hapus Akun. All your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy Section 9 (Data retention).

12.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Materially breach these Terms
• Engage in fraud or illegal activity
• Fail to pay for a paid subscription after a reasonable grace period
• Have been inactive for more than 24 consecutive months (we will email you 30 days before deletion)

We will provide notice and, where reasonable, an opportunity to cure before termination, except in cases of egregious violations.

12.3 Effect of termination

On termination, your right to use Pang ends immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (IP, liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

13. Modifications to the service or terms

13.1 Service changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Pang at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any modification or discontinuation, except where required by law.

13.2 Terms changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via:

• In-app notification at least 30 days before effective
• Email to your registered address

Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you can terminate your account before the new Terms take effect.

14. Compliance with law

We will cooperate with valid legal requests from Indonesian law enforcement, tax authorities (DJP / Direktorat Jenderal Pajak), and courts. Disclosure will be limited to what is required by the request. We will notify you of such requests unless prohibited by law.

15. Governing law and disputes

15.1 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

15.2 Dispute resolution

We aim to resolve disputes amicably. Please contact halo@planwithpang.com first; we will respond within 14 business days.

If we cannot resolve a dispute within 60 days, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Jakarta administered by BANI (Badan Arbitrase Nasional Indonesia) under its then-current rules. Each party shall bear its own costs unless the arbitrator awards costs to the prevailing party.

This arbitration clause does NOT prevent you from filing a complaint with relevant Indonesian regulatory authorities (BPKN — Badan Perlindungan Konsumen Nasional, or OJK if related to financial services).

16. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government action, internet outages, third-party service failures (Supabase, etc.), or pandemics.

17. Miscellaneous

17.1 Entire agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding Pang and supersede any prior agreements.

17.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

17.3 No waiver

Our failure to enforce a right does not waive that right.

17.4 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale.

17.5 Language

These Terms are originally written in English. An Indonesian translation is provided for convenience; in case of conflict, the English version prevails.
